Wow. I can't believe that our trip is already over! We had such a great time visiting so many historical monuments and places. We went with my family and our days were so packed with things to do... I wish we had a few days in the end, to just do whatever. We tried to squeeze in things- like when we were done for the day, when everyone else went back to camp (or their hotels) we went back to Lake Sylvan & Custer State Park. Now that is a beautiful place!
Things we saw & places we went:
Mount Rushmore, Mount Rushmore Caves, Custer State Park, Lake Sylvan, 4 Mile Post Ghost Town, Bear Country, Reptile World, Crazy Horse, President's Slide, Wood Carving Museum, 1880 Courthouse Museum in Custer, Independence Rock & Martin's Grove.

WOW! I thought it was only your Mom and Dad going on the trip. So much for my communication lackage. It sure sounds like a great trip, tho. What was everyone's favorite part of the trip?
Mine, and I feel that I can speak for Alicia and Ryan on this, was Lake Sylvan. We could explore a little- Alicia could swim- I could lay on a rock and tan... it was nice! Although, it was really neat for me to see in the 4 Mile Ghost Town, a tree stump from the Little House on the Praire books. I love that series! Another highlight- was actually the drive! BJ & Liz brought these awesome walky-talky's that reached a long distance. We gabbed on those things almost the whole way! From yo momma jokes- to telling stories about our child hoods... to everything! It made the time in the car fly by!
